At 7:00 PM on July 24, 2016, Harbour Park came alive with the sound of the Goderich Laketown Band and the blended voices of the Ontario Champions, the Seaforth Harmony Kings.
The Kings sang a number of show tunes as well as their Ontario Championship winning numbers from World War 1. Their unique acappella style and blended voices was the perfect counterpoint to the Goderich Laketown Band’s selection of contemporary and march music.
Just so you know we don’t just play march music, one of the pieces performed by the band was “More Cowbell”, a medley of rock songs from the late 60s early 70’s that featured a cowbell in it. It had the place jiving! We try to play music that appeals to all tastes and styles so our performances have a mix of everything. Hopefully we will see you jiving in the crowd next time we perform.
