The weather was cool, and it was a bit damp, but the Goderich Laketown Band soldiered on. What a dedicated bunch of musicians! A special thanks goes out to Peter Neeb, who volunteered to drive us around on his flat bed truck.
The band performed at the square leading up to the noon day ceremonies, then left to decorate the float and play in the parade. If you want to hear a bit more of our wonderful band (we do play a wide variety of music), come out to the Van Egmond House 88 Kippen Road Egmondville Monday night, or see us at Dunsmore Park in Kincardine on the 13th. Both concerts start at 7:30 PM. We’d love to see you there.
