The Goderich Laketown Band joins the MacKay Choristers and friends in their celebration of the Christmas Season. Location is Lakeshore United Church, 56 North Street, Goderich, ON.
Join us at the quaint Kincardine Pavilion and enjoy a selection of show tune medleys, classical pieces, new-age pieces, and marches. Bring your lawn chair, children, and pets (and a blanket depending on the weather)! There is no cost but goodwill donations are always appreciated.
We are honoured to be invited each year to perform an outdoor concert in the charming community of Egmondville (just next door to Seaforth). Bring your lawn chair and stay for delicious snacks afterwards. There is no cost to the concert, but a goodwill donation is always appreciated.
One of our favourite events is participating in the Goderich Canada Day Parade. This event usually begins at 2:00pm. Enjoy the festivities with the whole family!
Every Sunday evening between June 30 and the end of August (except August 11, when Celtic Festival events will be taking place), the Goderich Laketown Band hosts music nights in Harbour Park. Bring your lawn chair, pets, children, and bug spray (!) and enjoy a wide range of music. As always, there is no admission to the concerts but goodwill donations are always appreciated. Stay tuned for a complete list of groups and their performance dates.
Join us for a cabaret style concert, featuring smaller sections of the Laketown Band. Snacks and beverages will be available. Admission (which includes a snack) is $20 for adults and 5$ for children 10 and under.
The Laketown Band will kick off our spring and summer concert series at the beautiful Kingsbridge Community Centre. We will play a selection of Canadian and European pieces, from European marches to “New World” selections.

If you play a woodwind, brass or percussion instrument and want to join the band, contact the Band President, Joyce Turek by email (click here) or by mail or phone. Our practices are on Monday nights at 7:15pm at Goderich District Collegiate Institute (GDCI) in the Music room.
