The day before was sunny, warm, and calm. The weather was more like a late spring day. But by the following evening (Nov. 19) it was cold, windy, and damp. The Goderich Laketown Band braved the elements and soldiered on through a 30 minute set of Christmas music to set the mood for the following tree lighting in the square and, of course, the Goderich Santa Clause Parade. This is nothing new to the Band. Last year it was a blizzard, but we managed to play on. Click on the underlined text above to see a video of part of this year's performance.
Thanks to members like Gary and Ted that don’t let a little inclemet weather stop us from supporting community events like this. We have been performing for the benefit of the community for the last 50 years. Yes folks, as of 2017, we will be celebrating this milestone along with this country’s 150th birthday. Help us celebrate by supporting us during our 2017 concert season.
