Mariner's Service

Held each year at Knox Church, the service pays tribute to the sailors who lost their lives during the great storm of 1913. Descendants of these sailors join the congregation each year to renew acquaintances, honor the bravery of their ancestors, and take in the memorabilia that surrounds this event. The Goderich Laketown Band is honored to be a part of this annual event.

If you play a woodwind, brass or percussion instrument and want to join the band, contact the Band President, Joyce Turek by email (click here) or by mail or phone. Our practices are on Monday nights at 7:15pm at Goderich District Collegiate Institute (GDCI) in the Music room.
